As Global Whisky Ambassador and Chief Smokehead for Ian Macleod Distillers, Adriana brings fire, attitude, and unapologetic individuality to every room she walks into. Her masterclasses feel like mosh pits. Her events blur the line between bar and stage. When she jumps behind the stick, Smokehead isn’t explained - it’s unleashed.
Adriana didn’t stumble into hospitality - she hit it like a shot glass hitting a concrete floor at last call. From high-voltage festival nights to late-shift cocktail takeovers, she learned to command a room, surf chaos, and squeeze a whole night’s worth of stories from a single bottle of whisky.
She carved her path through Edinburgh’s loudest, busiest bars - graduating from bartender to boss, sharpening instincts to a razor edge, and mastering atmosphere on either side of the bar, shaker to steel. Her fire carried her to The Edinburgh Gin Distillery, where she spent three years leading guest experiences and transforming tours into performances—part education, part theatre, all attitude.
Now she travels the world detonating Smokehead: smoky drams, big personality, zero apologies.
